Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These terms cover Sentinel, the software system at app.coryvlucas.com. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. If something here is unclear, email coryvlucas@gmail.com.
About Sentinel
Sentinel is a private business operating system built and run by Cory V. Lucas to operate his own businesses, including Sundance Building & Development and Lucas Capital. It is not sold to the public. Access is by invitation only — Cory, and people he has personally authorized, such as team members.
You can read more about what Sentinel is on the AI & Sentinel page. How Sentinel handles information, including data from connected Google accounts, is described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptance
By signing in to Sentinel or connecting an account to it, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Sentinel, and disconnect any accounts you have connected.
Connected accounts
You may connect accounts you own or are authorized to use, such as a Gmail, Google Calendar, or Microsoft 365 account. You authorize these through the provider’s own sign-in and consent screen, and Sentinel never sees your password for them.
Once connected, Sentinel syncs the account automatically, and acts on it when you take an action in Sentinel — for example sending an email you approved, archiving or moving a conversation to Trash, marking it read, or saving a calendar event. You can disconnect an account at any time; see Disconnecting connected accounts.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you do through Sentinel, including emails you send and changes you make to connected accounts. Messages sent from a connected mailbox go out under that mailbox’s name, exactly as if you had sent them from the provider directly. Review anything before you send or save it.
AI-generated content
Some Sentinel features use AI to summarize, categorize, extract details, or draft text. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. It is a starting point, not advice, and nothing AI-drafted is sent on your behalf until you choose to send it. Check it before relying on it — particularly anything involving money, dates, legal matters, or other people.
Availability and changes
Sentinel is actively developed by one person for his own businesses. Features change, may be unavailable at times, and may be removed. Sync with connected services can be delayed or interrupted, including when a provider ends a connection. Sentinel is not a backup service: keep your own copies of anything important in its original place.
Third-party services
Sentinel works with services run by other companies, such as Google, Microsoft, and the providers listed in the Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and Sentinel is not responsible for their availability or behavior.
Ownership
The Sentinel software belongs to Cory V. Lucas. Your information — your email, your calendar, your documents — remains yours. Using Sentinel does not transfer ownership of your content to anyone.
Disclaimer
Sentinel is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cory V. Lucas and his businesses are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or business, arising from your use of Sentinel or your inability to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Sentinel at any time: disconnect your accounts in Sentinel and, if you wish, remove Sentinel’s access in your Google or Microsoft account settings. Your access can also be ended at any time. What happens to stored information afterwards is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Sentinel changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Sentinel after a change means you accept the updated terms.
